The Kleckner Foundation supports projects that align with our mission. We accept funding requests in our various mission areas as described on our website.
Registered nonprofits, educational institutions, or individuals with a project aligned with our mission.
Projects must clearly define goals, a plan for implementation, and expected outcomes.
How to Apply
Funding requests begin with a basic Concept Note – A brief summary of your project to see if it aligns with our funding priorities.
Approved Concepts will be invited to submit a Full Proposal– Includes project description, budget, timeline, expected outcomes, and organizational background.
Submission– Proposals must be submitted by mail or e-mail before the deadline provided within the proposal period.
Review & Notification
Applications are reviewed for mission alignment, feasibility, and impact.
We do not provide feedback or consultations on draft funding requests.
We do not guarantee funding just because you submit a Proposal. We will evaluate each request and prioritize based on funding availability.
Successful applicants will receive a grant award letter with funding details and reporting requirements.
Review typically takes 30–60 days. Funding is subject to availability at the time of the proposal. We review requests periodically throughout the year. If funding is not available at the time of the submission, depending on the timeline of the Proposal, we may hold the Proposal for future consideration and funding availability.
Grant Recipient Expectations
Use of Funds – Only for the approved project; any changes must be approved by the Foundation. In general, we fund only specific projects, not capital projects, endowments, or organizational support.
Reporting – Regular progress updates and a final report detailing outcomes and budget use.
Acknowledgment – Recognize the Kleckner Foundation in project materials or public events.
Compliance – Follow all laws and ethical standards; misuse of funds may require repayment. Please consult with a tax advisor if you are unsure of the taxability of any funding we might provide.
